Pieces of my days...

My beautiful Bella sitting in the window. This is her spot. Last night while I was cooking dinner I looked over and saw her sitting there, and she was just so stunning I has to stop and snap her photo, and Im so glad I did. It turned out so beautiful.

This morning I was awoken with my best friend calling me for a garage sale date. I instantly accepted, got up and made coffee, threw some clothes on and was ready. I found this amazing old bottle for 50 cents. Its hard to tell from the photo, but it has this really cool irridescent look to it. I have a little love affair with old bottles... another one my mom passed down to me.
And this old patchwork quilt for $10. This is the inside, a beautiful shade of green with little birdies on it... so lovely.
The quilt top is just soft and pretty. Perfectly miss-matched patches of all shapes and sizes.
Here is a tid bit of what Ive been working on behind the scenes. This is the stuff you guys never see b/c it doesnt get posted online. This is for one of my shops that carry Violet Bella.
And a little sneak peak into one of the designs for James tshirts!!! We have several in the works, and James has tons of ideas! We are getting so close to getting our first one made. We mixed all the inks and stuff today, and washed all of the shirts! Getting pumped and excited!
And this was my lunch! Havent had a salad in a while, and it sounded good to me today, finally. I go through ups and downs with salads... This one was spinach, with red onion, tomatoes, feta cheese, almonds, sunflower seeds, sunflower sprouts and raspberry vinagrette dressing.
Today I got to hang out with my nanna, her sister, and my aunt. It was so nice to have them in my own home, which doesnt happen very often. It was nice to hug and see everyone. Made my heart happy.

I also cut out a ton of new teddy bear faces today, and one owl and one bunny!!! So many newbies coming sometime this week! There are still just a few teddy bears left in the shop :)

Im ready to go to sleep so I can get up tomorrow and start creating again... sometimes I just dont want to stop, but my body runs out of steam...

Tis the season for PICNICS!

This cool weather has made me picnic crazy! Since the other day that I had a little picnic with Violet, weve had two more!

One evening we brought Bella and Violet into the backyard with us, and we bbq'd bacon wrapped chicken and veggies, it was so yummy.

Violet pretty much explored on her leash the whole time...

(the headband im wearing is from Lune Vintage)

James and Violet gave each other some lovin'.
Bella pretty much laid around in various parts of the yard.
The tree we sat under, I love this tree. In the fall it turns the most magnificent shade of orange.
of course, my modelo.
Leaves from the tree next to the other one. This one has super spikey thorns.
On our other picnic, we went to our friends house that has a tee pee. Thats where we tooks the shots from last post of my PPP shirt.
And I made James a teddy bear shirt! Is this not the most adorable thing? I dont even have my own yet!!!
I have spent hours this week working on my new calendar. I was hoping to have it released by now, but its taken much longer than anticipated. But its so cute!

A few new things got posted to the shop yesterday, pop on over and check it out!

Laura

Shout Out to some of my FAVORITE artists

My newest piece in my Poor Pitiful Pearl collection. Short sleeve flannel oxy shirt. Im in love. The colors are amazing, it fits perfect, Im just simply in love.

James and I had a picnic today and I got him to snap some pics of me in it, and I decided to dress them up a bit.

If you dont already have an oxy shirt from PPP, you must go get one!

My newest necklace from Pennythreads. This is her 'Flight of Fancy' necklace thats in her shop, but in different colors. Ive featured his necklace before, but it takes on its own look with each different outfit.

And Im so excited to finally get some pics of my pants from Eviegreenpixie. Kate, the girl behind it all is so sweet and fun to work with. She made these ones just for me, and they are perfect.

And if you want to know how big of a dork I really am... I am wearing them backwards in these photos and I didnt even know it, ha ha. I sent the pics on Kate's facebook and she messaged me to let me know, and I laughed so hard! So what you see in the front, is really the back, and vice versa... but after all of that, I realized they look cute both ways, so its all cool!

I just had to give major props to my oh so talented friends and fellow etsians. These girls are amazing, not only talented, but each in their own way is beautiful, loving and inspiring.

Worth checking out all of their shops!

PEACE AND LOVE,
Laura

These teddy bears are from a few days ago, but they are just too cute to not share. I have a big workload for the next week or so, including things other than sewing, so I am going to try to squeeze in some more when I can!

Most of these sold already, except the blue striped 'tomboy' tshirt, which I love. Its a size Medium.

Dont forget to enter the GIVEAWAY! Ends on the 5th :)

Craft Room Updates

Yesterday I spent some re-organizing my craft room a bit. This room is basically a glorified storage room for all of my fabrics and such... I dont ever actually create in it. It is way too cluttered. I create throughout the rest of my house, which is small, but I make it work.

I began hanging up all new vintage clothes that are coming to the shop soon! They look so pretty together. Im so excited to introduce this to the shop. I think for a while I am just going to add them to my current shop, and just have a separate section for Vintage Clothing. I just dont have the time right now to create a whole new shop and spend lots of time promoting it. So for the time being, thats the game plan.

I collect these vintage wooden bowls for my craft stuff, mostly buttons. I have two large ones, and several small single bowls. I love them so much, and always find them at thrift stores. I cant wait to have a BIG studio one day and lay them all out!
I cleared off the big desk in the room for James's Yudu. He is getting all of his inks and stuff in and were getting close to starting on his shirts! I am so proud of him. He has lots of ideas for shirts, and its going to be so fun to create them together. Im designing some girly things for his line too!
I love my box organizers from Target. I wish I had like 20 more of them!
My ever growing collection of vintage sheets, doilies and embroideries.
I keep alot of my vintage sheets in an old kitchen china hutch.
More boxes! They are everywhere, seriously. All over the floor, stacked up the walls!
My moms pin cushion. My boyfriend in high school was named West, and he put his name in her pin cushion like that... and she would never let me take it out. so even now, I still cannot remove it, even though its kind of odd to have an ex's name lingering around like that.
A while back I put up the table covers I made for my wedding as curtains in my bedroom. I love them...
